A classic two-and-a-half storey home surrounded by the escarpment and the nearby Bruce Trail in the Kirkendall neighbourhood was the most expensive home sold in Hamilton last month, with the house selling June 6 for $1,508,000 – $29,000 over asking.

The five-bedroom, four-bathroom, 2,782 sq. ft. renovated home at 61 Flatt Avenue features a stunning kitchen with quartz surfaces, modern windows, hardwood flooring throughout and a home gym inside and a fully covered patio outside complete with chandeliers and a pool-sized yard.

At #2 on the list, compiled by Zoocasa Real Estate, was a three-bedroom home on Price Avenue that sold June 19 for exactly $29,000 UNDER asking, while a four-bedroom house on Halo Street was released June 24 for $988,000 to claim the #3 position.

A three-bedroom, four bath home at 150 Jacqueline Boulevard sold June 5 for $970,000 was in at #4, with the property selling for $21,000 over asking.

Number five on the list was a serious bargain, with a fully renovated three-bedroom home on Ferndale Avenue selling for $960,000 on June 7, a whopping $261,000 over asking.

The property, situated in the prestigious Rosedale neighbourhood, boasts 1,905 sq. ft of new living space above grade and an extra 785 sq. ft in the basement, as well as an oversized garage and a huge yard – perfect for entertaining or just relaxing.
