Life-threatening injuries to driver after highway crash in Hamilton

One person is facing life-threatening injuries after a Wednesday morning highway crash in Hamilton.

At 6:11 a.m., OPP said a single vehicle had been involved in a rollover collision on westbound Highway 403 at Wilson Street in Ancaster.

The sole occupant of the vehicle, a 20-year-old Toronto man, has been taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The on-ramp to Highway 403 from Wilson Street has been closed, and westbound lanes from Wilson to Highway 52 remain closed for road repairs.

Burlington OPP and the OPP traffic safety division are investigating the collision.

Drivers should avoid the area.
