VIDEO: Identity sought of man who spray painted ‘hateful’ graffiti on Hamilton business

The public’s assistance is being requested in helping to identify a man police believe spray painted hate related graffiti on the side of a Hamilton business.

An investigation has been launched into what Hamilton Police are calling a Hate Motivated Mischief. The incident occurred last Friday (June 21) around 2 a.m. in the East end of Hamilton around the area of King Street East and Cochrane Road.

Police are looking to identify a white male who is approximately 30 to 40 years of age with a thin build. He has brain hair and was wearing a black sweater with a white stripe on the shoulder, black pants, and red and black shoes.

Residents and businesses in the area are being asked to review any surveillance footage they may have for any suspicious activity involving a person like the provided description between 1:30 and 2:30 a.m.
