Wanted federal offender arrested in Hamilton, Ontario

A federal offender known to frequent the Hamilton and Toronto area has been found.
The Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (R.O.P.E.) Squad issued a Canada-wide warrant for Daniel Hale in March.
Hale was unlawfully at large on March 26 but was arrested in Hamilton with assistance from the Hamilton Police, OPP said in a press release today (April 11).
Hale is serving a two-year, 27-day sentence for robbery and use restricted/prohibited firearm.
The Provincial R.O.P.E. Squad thanked the public for their assistance in locating Hale.
